1. Who we are

This website is operated by GalgaXpert Platform Innovations (“GalgaXpert”, “we”), a South African private company, registration number K2026178862. For personal information collected through this website, we are the “responsible party” under the Protection of Personal Information Act, 4 of 2013 (POPIA).

2. What we collect

The only personal information this website collects is what you choose to send us through the quote form on the contact page:

  • Required to respond: your name, email address, phone/WhatsApp number, and your message.
  • Voluntary: your business name, an indicative budget range, and the type of project you are enquiring about. Leaving these out does not stop you from contacting us.

If we then correspond by email, WhatsApp or phone, we keep that correspondence as part of the enquiry record. Our hosting provider also keeps standard, short-lived server logs (such as IP addresses) for security and operations, as any website host does.

3. Why we collect it

We use your details to respond to your enquiry, prepare a quote, and — if you engage us — to conclude and perform the resulting agreement. Processing is based on the steps you ask us to take before entering into a contract, and on our legitimate interest in running the business. We do not use your details for marketing lists, and we do not sell or rent personal information to anyone.

4. Who we share it with

Your information is shared only with the service providers that make this website work:

  • Web3Forms — Contact-form delivery — relays quote-form submissions to our inbox. Location: United States.
  • Cloudflare — Website hosting and content delivery network. Location: Global network (international).

We may also disclose information where a law requires it. There are no other recipients.

5. Cross-border transfers

When you submit the quote form, the submission is delivered to us by Web3Forms, which processes it in the United States. This transfer happens only because it is necessary to deliver your enquiry to us at your request, and Web3Forms handles submissions under its own privacy commitments. Once delivered, the enquiry lives in our own mailbox and records in South Africa.

6. How long we keep it

If an enquiry does not lead to an engagement, we keep the enquiry record for up to 24 months after it closes, then delete it. Records connected to an actual engagement are kept for as long as South African law requires business, tax and company records to be retained.

7. Cookies and analytics

This website sets no cookies and runs no trackers or analytics scripts. That is why there is no cookie banner — there is nothing to consent to. If we later enable Cloudflare Web Analytics, it is a cookieless service that reports only aggregate page statistics and identifies no individual visitor; this policy will note it here.

8. How we protect it

The site is a static website served over HTTPS — it has no user accounts, no login, and never asks for payment details. Enquiry records are accessible only to the Information Officer, and we apply reasonable technical and organisational measures appropriate to a business of our size to keep them secure.

9. Your rights

Under POPIA you may, at any time:

  • ask what personal information we hold about you and request a copy;
  • ask us to correct or delete it;
  • object to processing, or withdraw any consent you gave.

10. Complaints

If you believe we have handled your personal information unlawfully and we have not resolved it with you directly, you may complain to the regulator:
